Watercolour, acrylic and encaustic art, mainly land- and seascapes
Rupert Head spent 37 years in the Navy and during long sea passages, a few storms and in far flung places, found time to paint - inevitably seascapes and ships. A three year appointment to Britannia gave him opportunities to paint for the Royal Family and another three years as an attach in Riyadh found him painting deserts and camels. He now enjoys life in a Sussex farmhouse with his wife, Steph, and spends all free time with a paintbrush in hand, widen his scope of subject and always welcomes commissions which range from favourite pets to favourite pubs! .
