Contemporary botanical paintings in watercolour.
Liz began painting in watercolour in 2011, after decades without picking up a paintbrush. She finds the finds the detail and accuracy required are well matched to her way of painting, but her primary aim is to communicate to the viewer what it is she finds particularly captivating about her subject matter, whether form, texture or the subtly beautiful colours of the natural world. Liz is a member of the American Society of Botanical Artists and has exhibited at their Annual International Exhibition in New York for the past few years. She also exhibits regularly in London, as well as locally.
