Linda trained as a Cartographical Draughtsman at the Ordnance Survey and now enjoys the freedom of all forms of artwork. When Drawing or Printing a landscape, she can place a road or a building wherever she wishes!
Although primarily a self-taught artist she has had the privilege of attending many courses with a variety of excellent tutors.
Linda has exhibited for about 25 years and is proud to know her works can be found in collections not only in the UK but also in Canada, America, New Zealand, Australia, Thailand, Singapore, France and the Netherlands.
Enjoying working with many mediums developing paintings further and particularly the challenge of printmaking.
She has also discovered working with enamel on copper there is always a twist or a surprise than can never be replicated.
Since March 2017 Linda has been running “The Little Art Gallery” in West Wittering and has not been exhibiting so much in other places. She has decided it is time for her to have her own Solo Show in her own gallery and the weekends of the Chichester Open Studios Art Trail seems the obvious time to do it.
Whilst the gallery is not my studio I will be displaying a selection of materials I use and can give demonstrations.
