Chinese watercolour and ink on "Xuan" paper
I love the versatility of the traditional Chinese brush. Painting with Chinese watercolours and ink on "rice paper" is a fascinating journey that started while I was living in Hong Kong. My paintings are based on nature: flowers and birds (usually in the "boneless style", no outlines) or landscapes (with ink as a major component). I am a member of The Chinese Painting Group (local), the London Chinese Brush Painting Group and the UK Chinese Brush Painters Society. These provide platforms to enjoy and enrich my continuous learning.
