Iconic birds worked in steel and copper wire; Silhouettes of wild animals for garden display; rusted plant supports.
Since retirement, I have worked with wood using carving and lathe techniques. More recently I have made sculptures of wading birds using copper and steel wires, inspired by long walks around Chichester Harbour. Using plasma-cutting and welding, I have developed a range of garden animals and plant supports. I am currently working with copper and enamels to portray more waders and garden birds. Visitors will be able to watch us working with the propane forge and showing some of our metal working techniques.
