Handprinted lithographs, oil pastel artwork and sketchbooks.
I studied illustration and printmaking at Harrow School of Art, University of Westminster, where I developed my use of oil pastels, and was introduced to the traditional methods of stone and metal plate lithography.
I have continued to sketch and create artworks in oil pastels, and have now moved to using the modern method of carbon and paper plate lithography, which bases itself on the same principle of water and oil resist, with its own unique results.
Images are from sketchbook studies of plant, animal and 'stone life' existing within the local country estates of Parham, West Dean and National Trust - Slindon and Woolbeding.
