Personal Statement
Born in New Zealand in 1966 and raised in Hong Kong, I have been using glass as a medium since 1995. Trained in Australia in Traditional Stained Glass, I then went on to finish a City and Guilds Qualification in Stained Glass Techniques in 1998 in the United Kingdom. I have always been fascinated with traditional stained glass but over the years have wanted to integrate more complexity and detail into my work. By spending time developing my glass fusing, lamp work and glass painting techniques I now produce a variety of complex work using all these methods to produce a huge range of contemporary glass art mixing traditional with a contemporary twist and creating highly individual bespoke pieces for my client base. I run regular workshops for beginners from my Bognor Regis Studio in Fusing and Traditional Leadlight techniques and also offer developmental workshops for my more experienced students.
