Personal Statement
For the majority of my working life I was involved in Education both as a Primary Teacher and ultimately a Head Teacher. I was given the opportunity of joining the part-time newly formed 2 year Art Foundation Course at West Dean College and during this time I was able to attend a wide range of courses. I like to try new techniques and experiment with a range of materials to achieve the effects I am looking for. I use texture in seascapes and landscapes often combining acrylic or watercolour with inks and oil pastel. I stock a range of original work, prints and greeting cards of my work and have sketchbooks on display. I enjoy sharing my love of art with visitors.
