Personal Statement

I started pottery when my usual table tennis evening class was full, that was in 1977, I have been potty ever since. I cannot pin myself down to one particular type of work, so I try everything life's too short. I volunteer at the Weald and Downland museum one day a week and I make replica pottery for them. I would love to borrow a time machine for the day to see how it was really done. I fire stoneware at my friend's wood burning kiln ,she kindly lets me use some space it is a real treat every 6 months. I fire raku as well and have built a kiln shed in the garden and will be firing on the Bank holiday Monday. You will be able to buy a pot and watch it being fired
