I grind my own oil paints and paint mostly on canvas and sometimes use acrylic paint. Abstract landscapes and figures in movement.
I trained in the 1960's at Worthing College of Art and the Central School in London. I had a number of exhibitions in the 1970's including the Assembly Rooms in Chichester. 'War On Want' charity travelled my work around the U.K. The Southampton Medical Team commissioned a large painting on fabric based on the snake as a symbol of healing. I then trained as an Art Therapist and later as a Jungian Analyst working for the N.H.S.and in my own Private Practice. I am now retired and concentrating on my painting.
All my work is signed in my maiden name 'Siems'.
